In loving memory of Nancy Elma Maria Anderson Lucia. She was known for her devotion to her family, and passed peacefully in her home with her loved ones by her side.
Born in New Britain to the late Carl and Anna Anderson, she attended school, graduating from New Britain High School in 1958. In 1961 Nancy moved to Kensington where she would reside for the remainder of her life. Her home was surrounded by an amazing, supportive neighborhood that became another part of her family.
Nancy was employed at Genphil Inc. in New Britain for 17 years. In 1987 she began working with the New Britain school district until her retirement in 2006.
Nancy loved to spend time knitting and crocheting, both for her grandson and to help rescue animals in need. Aside from her varied interests in arts and crafts, Nancy also had a passion for gardening and spending time at the beach.
Her greatest love was her family. She is survived by her son Robert Lucia, his wife Jennifer Lucia, her precious grandson Andrew, and her beloved cat Peanut.
