Darryl Hale

EAST HARTFORD - Darryl Hale, 45, of 51 Brook Street, East Hartford, the loving husband of Vera (Crawford) Hale, and the devoted father of Hannah Elisabeth Hale, passed away quietly Thursday (may 17, 2007) at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Born in Marysville, California, the son of Preston Hale Sr. and Ethel Mae (Calhoun) Hale of Glendale, Arizona, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in industrial labor relations from Cornell University and his Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School, was presently an attorney for the National Labor Relations Board, and currently had the privilege and honor of being the pastor at New Born Church of God and True Holiness in Newington. In addition to his wife, daughter, and parents, he is survived by three brothers, Preston Hale Jr. of Austin, Texas, Christopher Hale of Durham, North Carolina, and Gary Hale of Hartford, and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Wednesday (May 23, 2007) at 10am at New Born Church of God and True Holiness, 505 Church Street, Newington. Burial will follow in Maple Cemetery, Berlin. Friends and relatives are invited to call at Porter's Funeral Home, 111 Chamberlain Highway in Kensington, on Tuesday (May 22, 2007) from 6-9pm.
