Anne Marie Wilchynsky

Anne Marie Wilchynsky passed away peacefully at the age of 102, in her apartment at the Villages in Meriden on January 30, 2025.

She was the widow of Henry Wilchynsky and the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Borovsky) Adamec.  Anne was a longtime resident of Berlin and lifetime member of the Berlin V.F.W. Auxiliary #10732. After her retirement from CCSU, she enjoyed traveling, as well as activities at the Berlin Senior Citizen Center.  She was known for her homemade cards, crocheting, puzzle making and collecting can tabs for the Shriner’s Hospital.

Surviving are her nieces, Dorothy Fox (Roy) and Margaret Ellison (Alan) of Berlin, many great nieces and nephews and multiple great-great nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Anne was predeceased by her sisters, Emily Graham and Mary Adamec.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 11:30 AM at St. Paul’s Church, 461 Alling St., Kensington.  A private burial will take place in the spring at St. Thomas Cemetery, Southington.
