Heaven gained another angel, as our beloved Annette Marie Rivard, 83, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on December 29, 2024. Annette was wife to the late Conrad P. Rivard for 62 years, residing in Plainville, CT. She was born January 7, 1941 in Rivière-Verte, New Brunswick, Canada, to the late Normand Nadeau and Eva (Therrien) Nadeau.
Annette married Conrad P. Rivard in 1960 and they made their home in Connecticut after moving to the USA in 1964. In addition to raising their children, she was self-employed. Annette had her home child daycare for 20+ years and retired in 2005. She was affectionately called Mémère or Nannette by all of the children.
Annette had a loving and gentle nature. She enjoyed camping and taking trips with her family across the east coast and to Canada. Annette was so proud of her Canadian heritage, but also extremely proud to have become a naturalized US citizen in 1992.
