NEW BRITAIN - Charles Alonzo Smith Sr., 85, of New Britain, died Thursday morning(March 27, 2014) at The Hospital of Central Connecticut, New Britain. He was born in Macon, Georgia, son of the late Alonzo and the late Clara (Cliett) Smith. He is survived by two sons, Charles A. Smith Jr., and Alex Smith, and two daughters, Charlene Smith and Alexis Smith. A private graveside service will take place in Fairview Cemetery, New Britain. There are no calling hours.
