Christina Matilde Morant, 31, of Kensington, daughter of Raymond and Ann Marie (Carbonell) Morant, died Monday morning (September 17, 2018) at home. Born in New Britain, she graduated from Berlin High School, and was employed at On The Border in Rocky Hill. She was a member of St. Paul's Church and the Spanish American Cultural Club. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter who was the love of her life, Madyson Morant, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Ana and Paul Andreotta of Bentonville, Arkansas, and Melissa and Mark DiLoreto of Berlin, her maternal grandmother, Vicenta Carbonell of Berlin, one niece, Ariana Andreotta, four nephews, Aiden and Greyson Andreotta, and James and Jax DiLoreto, and several uncles, aunts, and cousins here and in Spain. She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Vicente Carbonell, and her paternal grandparents, Ramon and Matilde Morant. Friends and relatives are invited to call at Porter's Funeral Home, 111 Chamberlain Highway, Berlin, Friday evening (September 21, 2018) from 4-7pm. A Funeral Liturgy will take place Saturday (September 22, 2018) at 10:00am DIRECTLY at St. Paul's Church, 467 Alling Street, Kensington.
