Christopher Michael (MAC) McHale passed away unexpectedly on March 6, 2026.
Chris grew up in Berlin, an All-State football player and all-around athlete. He loved sports, specifically the Miami Dolphins, Red Sox and Celtics. He was passionate about college sports as well. His sailing enthusiasm began in his early years with his dad. Chris enjoyed many years in Colorado working in the ski and snowboard industry. Chris lived for music and was an accomplished percussionist. He was well known in the East as the Mac in Mac and Jamie (as well as with the band The Junk show). They had a dedicated following that led to lifelong friendships. Chris had a huge heart and curiosity that included constant questions and conversations.
He was predeceased by his father, Richard McHale. He is survived by his mother, Kathleen (Jarvis) McHale, and siblings Debbie Rollman (James), Jimmy McHale (Shari), and Katie Vreeland (Harrison). He adored his nieces and nephews, Emma, Michael (Bianca), Maxwell (Shaina), Samuel, Nicholas, Kristin and Jimmy (Michelle).
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
