David Allan Pipkin

David Allan Pipkin, 56, of Berlin passed away unexpectedly at home on November 15, 2023.  Dave was born in Berlin on April 24, 1967 to the late Edwin and Irene Pipkin.  He was raised in East Berlin and graduated from Berlin High School.  He was employed by several companies including Polamer and Manafort Brothers Inc.

Dave was a friendly, outgoing person who loved joking around with friends and meeting new people.  In his youth, he enjoyed camping with his family at their camper at Salem Farms Campground in Salem, CT  He enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, or fishing, but he was happiest when he was riding his quad, motorcycle, dirt bike or snowmobile.  His two favorite group trips were riding his motorcycle at Laconia Bike Week in New Hampshire and going to Argentina to snowboard.

Dave is survived by his son, Jacob Pipkin; his son’s mother, Beth Pipkin of Berlin; his brother, Allan Pipkin and his wife Jeanne of Berlin; his sister, JoAnn Caron and her husband Scott of Tolland; and his nephews, Matthew, Michael and Hunter Caron of Tolland.  He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins, and beloved friends.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 12 PM to 3 PM at the American Legion, 154 Porters Pass, Berlin.
