Deborah J. Marturano

Deborah Jane (Bartley) Marturano, 69, of Berlin, went home to be with her savior Jesus on September 14, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, after a short battle with cancer. She was born on December 27, 1956, daughter of the late Arthur A. Bartley, Sr. and Barbara (McCurry) Bartley of New Britain.

She is survived by long-time husband James S. Marturano; son Jason J. Marturano and his wife Stephanie and their children Dylan, Ella, Aaliyah and Kylie; son Thomas A. Marturano and his wife Megan and their children Lacey and Quinn. Also surviving are her sister Susan L. (Bartley) Gilbert and her husband Andrew; brother Arthur A. Bartley, Jr. and his wife Sandra; and dearest friend Roseann (Feathers) Buchiere. She is predeceased by her sister Lisa A. Bartley.

Debbie will be remembered for her faith in Jesus Christ, love for her family, and sharing that love with everyone. We will remember her for her passion going tag saling on weekends, causing mischief with Feathers, and giving profound wisdom to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed taking the grandkids to Texas Roadhouse and sharing stories with all the friends and family.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 11 am at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home of Berlin, 111 Chamberlain Highway, Berlin with a calling hour beginning at 10 am.
