Doris Saucier, 86, passed away peacefully on January 27th, surrounded by her loving family, leaving behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Doris was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, cousin, aunt, and friend. Her greatest joy in life was her family, who were always at the very center of her heart. She is survived by her husband, Roger Saucier, and her beloved children, Lisa Parziale, Elmer Potter, and Brenda Patterson, along with their families, who were a constant source of pride and happiness to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Riberio and Mary Almeida, and her siblings, Joseph, Lucy, Dorothy, and Albert.
Doris found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved a good game of bingo, never turned down a banana split, and took great joy in playing cards—especially when it meant taking your money. She treasured every moment spent with the people she loved. Music brought out her spark—you could often find Doris on the dance floor, smiling, happy, and moving with her own special rhythm. Whether gathered around a table playing cards, sharing stories, or simply being together, time spent with family and friends was always her favorite place to be.
She will be remembered for her spunky spirit, her strength, and the fierce, unwavering love she gave to those around her. While her presence will be deeply missed, Doris’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
