Dorothy June (Tyler) Breski, of Kensington, died peacefully at Chestelm Health and Rehab in Moodus on Friday, May 12, 2023.

Dorothy was born in Bristol, CT on June 26, 1926, the daughter of Harry Collins Tyler and Ethel (Peace) Tyler.  Before her retirement in 1985, Dottie was employed by AT&T (SNET) for 38 years.  She was predeceased by her husband, Jacob Breski and her brother Bernard Tyler.  She was also predeceased by her long-time best friend, Albert C Pollard.  Dottie is survived by several nieces and her (almost) step daughters Catherine Pollard of Middlefield and Lois Foley of Portland.

Dottie was a woman of many talents including, knitting, crocheting, growing roses, raising dogs, decorating Christmas cookies, planning trips to the casino and traveling with the Model A Club. She had a keen wit and a stubbornness that kept all who knew her on their toes.

Calling hours are from 6 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday, May 23rd at the Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home of Berlin, 111 Chamberlain Highway, Kensington.  Burial service is private.  Donations may be made in Dottie’s name to the Berlin Senior Center, 33 Colonial Drive, Berlin.
