Edith Shirley (Munson) Pulito, 85, of Kensington, loving wife of Robert Pulito for sixty-five years, died early Tuesday (September 11, 2018) at The Hospital of Central Connecticut, New Britain. Born in New Britain, daughter of the late Oscar, and the late Myrtis (Day) Munson, she graduated from Berlin High School, was employed at Landers, Frary & Clark, and was a member of St. Paul's Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Laurie Pulito with whom she made her home, and Susan and Robert Alquesta of East Canaan, a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Melissa Pulito of Brownfield, Maine, a brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Sandra Munson of Goshen, her grandchildren who were the joys of her life, Steven Alquesta and his wife Mollee, Andrew Alquesta, and Laura and Thomas Pulito, several nieces and nephews, and many more dear family members and friends. Funeral services will take place Friday (September 14, 2018) at 10am from Porter's Funeral Home, 111 Chamberlain Highway, Berlin, with a Funeral Liturgy at 11:30am at St. Paul's Church. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill.
