Elaine "Peachy" (Ciacci) Ferraguto

Elaine “Peachy” (Ciacci) Ferraguto, 85, of Kensington, beloved wife for 49 years of the late Philip Ferraguto, passed away peacefully Friday, May 17, 2024 after a period of declining health.  Born in New Britain on June 24, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Evo and Julia (Topolski) Ciacci and had lived in the area her entire life.  Peachy graduated from New Britain High School.  Peachy married the love of her life, Phil, in 1961 and they settled in Kensington to raise their family.  She was a former member of the Kensington Garden Club, the Jaycees and UNICO. She also taught religious education for many years.  Peachy devoted her life to her family and was happiest when they were all together.

A loving mother and grandmother, Peachy will be forever missed by her two sons, David Ferraguto and wife Kim of Kensington and Philip Ferraguto and wife Terri of Wethersfield and her five adored grandchildren, Doug Ferraguto, Jillian Ferraguto and fiancé Austin Barnes, Julia Ferraguto, Lauren Ferraguto and Sophia Ferraguto.  She is also survived by many extended family members. In addition to her husband and parents, Peachy was predeceased by her brother, Doug Ciacci.

Funeral services and burial will be private at the family's request.
