Evelyn (Roux) Cammarata

Evelyn (Roux) Cammarata, 98, formerly of Berlin, widow of Carl Joseph Cammarata after 50 years of marriage, died Christmas night at Chestelm Health and Rehabilitation Center in Moodus. Born in Black Lake, Canada, she attended New Britain High School, was employed at F.W. Woolworth Company until her retirement, and was a member of Sacred Heart in East Berlin and The Ladies Guild. She is survived by a sister, Rita Desrochers formerly of Berlin, several nieces, nephews, and grandnieces, and grandnephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Jean Roux, and two sisters, Cecile DiPace and Frances Bernier. A Memorial Mass will be Friday (January 12, 2018) at 10am at Sacred Heart Church, 66 Cottage Street, East Berlin. Burial in the State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
