Frank S. "Buck" Witt

Frank "Buck" S. Witt, 90, of Rocky Hill, loving husband of Ida "Marti" (Martinelli) Witt for over fifty years, passed away peacefully Monday morning (August 21, 2017) at home. Born in Taos, New Mexico, son of the late Frank and the late Grace (Garvin) Witt, he served in the US Army in Korea, and was employed at United Tool & Die in Westfield until his retirement. In addition to his wife he is survived by a sister, Eve Scanlon of Bristol, and a sister-in-law, Diane Witt of Lowell, Massachusetts. He was predeceased by a brother, Lee Witt, and a sister, Anne Davenson. A graveside service will be held Thursday (August 24, 2017) at 11am DIRECTLY at Wilcox Cemetery, East Berlin. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter, 200 Executive Boulevard, Southington, CT 06489-1058.
