Gilbert E. Pelletier

Gilbert E. Pelletier, 93, of Kensington, husband of Leola Pelletier, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at the Jerome Home in New Britain.

Born in Madawaska, Maine, he was the son of the late Donat and Egline (Bouchard) Pelletier. He was formerly employed at Fafnir Bearing Co. before retiring. Gilbert was a member of St. Paul Church. He enjoyed gardening, spending time with his family, and watching wrestling on TV.

Surviving are his wife, Leola (Theriault) Pelletier; two daughters, Karen Collins (Andrew) and Kathy Lavoie (Bryan); his brothers and sisters, Clifford Pelletier, Jeanette Morneault, Joann Ouellette and Joseph Pelletier; three grandchildren, Eric Collins, Kurtis Lavoie (Mindy), and Kyle Lavoie; four great-grandchildren, Carter, Zachary, Emma, and Hannah; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a grandson, Craig Collins, and by his brothers and sisters, Alby, Germaine, Jeanne, Gilmay, Marie Mae, and Paul.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 27, 2026 at 10 AM at St. Paul Church. Entombment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Calling hours are Sunday, April 26, 2026 from 3-5 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home of Berlin, 111 Chamberlain Hwy., Berlin.
