Giuliana Rose Dematteo

Giuliana Rose DeMatteo, 17, of Berlin, died Friday (September 28, 2018) at Midstate Medical Center in Meriden. Born in Meriden, she was attending Berlin High School. She is survived by her mother, Karie McKevitt, and her stepfather, Derek Hall, of Berlin, her father, James DeMatteo of East Haven, her older sister, Alexis Crespo, her big brother, Jonathan Sturgeon, her maternal grandparents, Robert and Sally Rungee of Berlin, two aunts, Amy McKevitt and Jamie Empronto, two cousins, Justice Empronto-Gale and Lilliana Gonzalez, and a wonderful and loving extended family. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Richard and Marita DeMatteo. Friends and relatives are invited to a celebration of her life on Wednesday (October 3, 2018) from 4-7pm at Porter's Funeral Home, 111 Chamberlain Highway in Berlin.
