Jacqueline Denise Eagle

Jacqueline Denise Eagle, 69, of Columbia, Connecticut, passed away peacefully early Sunday morning (May 8, 2016) at Windham Hospital. Born in Brooklyn, daughter of the late Boatwright Eagle and the late Jeanne Eagle Pontes, she loved to go out to eat and have her coffee. She is survived by two sisters, Shelley Pontes and Cheryl Pontes Stewart, both of New Britain, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her stepfather, Peter Pontes Sr., and two brothers, Peter Pontes Jr. and Ronald Eagle. Her family is deeply appreciative of the love and care provided by Mrs. Michele Smith, Residential Director, and the staff at Sunrise Northeast in Columbia. Funeral Services will be held Friday (May 13, 2016) at 11am at Porter's Funeral Home, 111 Chamberlain Highway, Berlin, The Rev. Thomas A. Mills Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. Friends and relatives are invited to call at the funeral home on Friday (May 13, 2016) from 10-11am.
