Jacqueline "Jackie" (Borselle) Timko, 97, wife of the late Frank Timko, passed away peacefully at The Pavilion at Jerome Home on Friday, February 6, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late John and Elena (Sapia) Borselle, she lived in Berlin for the majority of her adult life. A woman of deep faith, she was an active member of St. Paul Church since 1960. Throughout her life, she enjoyed playing golf at Shuttle Meadow, Indian Hill and Timberlin, traveling, trips to the casino, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her warm heart and energetic spirit touched all who knew her.
She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Marlene and Thomas Drzata of New Britain, and Judith and John McCormack of Kensington; four grandchildren, Lauren Drzata, Michael Drzata (Megan), John Francis McCormack, and Kevin McCormack (Rachel); six great granddaughters, Kylie and Kelsey Drzata, and Quinn, Teagan, Claire and Lyla McCormack; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a sister and brother-in-law, Lena and Hyman Jortner, and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph and Josephine Borselle, and Frank and Dorothy Borselle.
The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at Arbor Rose and The Pavilion at Jerome Home, and Hartford Healthcare Hospice for their loving care.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 9 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home of Berlin, 111 Chamberlain Hwy., Berlin, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Paul Church. Private burial will take place in West Lane Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5 - 7 PM at the funeral home.
