Jane Mcdowell (Coit) Beard

INVERNESS, FLORIDA - Jane McDowell (Coit) Beard, 93, of Inverness, Florida, widow of Russell Beard, died Thursday (February 13, 2014) at Arbor Trail Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Inverness, Florida. Born in Crafton, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Charles and the late Mary (Shellenberger) Coit, she served in the US Navy, and is survived by her daughter, Virginia Panto of Inverness, Florida. A graveside service with full military honors will take place Thursday (February 20, 2014) at Wilcox Cemetery, East Berlin, The Rev. Michelle Lewis of The United Methodist Church of East Berlin officiating.
