Janis L. Baxter

Janis Gosselin Baxter, 50, passed away on September 19th, 2021 after a short illness.  She was born on February 11, 1971 in New Britain, CT.

Janis graduated from Plainville High School and was a long term resident of Rocky Hill.  She held various jobs including a massage therapist.  She was an avid camper, animal lover and loved the outdoors. She danced on the harvest moon to eternity.

She leaves behind her five children; Lesley, Victoria, Michele, Jerry and Jennifer Baxter.  She also leaves behind her mother Rita Paradis, a brother Aaron Gosselin, and her partner Paul Cronkhite, as well as several cousins, aunts and uncles.  Janis was predeceased by her father Paul Gosselin and stepfather Maurice Paradis.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the family’s discretion.
