Jennifer Godfrey

Jennifer Godfrey, 49, of New Britain, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023.

Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late John and Jane (Sanford) Cerpovicz.  Jenn was formerly employed as a manager at CVS.  She enjoyed reading, going to the library, spending time with her family, playing Yahtzee and eating bacon.  Jenn was a Boston Red Sox and Dallas Cowboys fan. In addition to her parents, Jenn is predeceased by her sister, Joann Temple.

Surviving are her aunt, Phyllis Trexler of New Britain; her uncle, Robert Cerpovicz and his wife Holly of New Hampshire; her niece, Bobbi Achim and her husband Marc of Berlin; her nephew, Jordan Temple of Berlin; her great niece, Cornelia Achim; and many cousins and friends.  Jenn’s friends were also very important to her.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 11:45 AM at St. Mary Cemetery in New Britain. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude’s Hospital. The family also appreciates the thoughtfulness behind Mass Cards, if you would like to remember Jenn in this way.
