Joan Anne (Scioli) Linstruth

KENSINGTON - Joan Anne (Scioli) Linstruth, 72, of Kensington, loving wife of Ronald Linstruth Sr. for 45 years, died late Saturday (December 12, 2015) at home with her family at her side. Born in Bronx, New York, daughter of the late Armando and the late Antonina Marie (Trionfi) Scioli, she grew up in Glens Falls, New York, received her Master's degree in Education from Plattsburg University in New York, and was a teacher at St. Paul's School in Kensington until her retirement. She was a member of St. Paul's Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Ronald Linstruth Jr. and his wife Daysha of Berlin, a daughter, Kimberley Linstruth-Beckom and her husband Scott with whom she made her home, two grandchildren, Brittanny and Olivia Beckom, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Friends and relatives are invited to call at Porter's Funeral Home, 111 Chamberlain Highway, Berlin, on Wednesday (December 16, 2015) from 6-9pm. A Funeral Liturgy will take place Thursday (December 17, 2015) at 10am DIRECTLY AT St. Paul's Church on Alling Street in Kensington. A graveside service will be held Friday (December 18, 2015) at 12noon in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, New York. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter, 200 Executive Boulevard, Southington, CT 06489-1058.
