KENSINGTON - Joan Ann (Wagner) Wasielak, 79, of Kensington, loving wife of William Wasielak, died early Sunday morning (December 3, 2017) at home. Born in New Britain, daughter of Constance (Tabellione) Wagner and the late Donald Wagner, she was employed at The Kensington Fire District Water Department until her retirement. She was a member of St. Joachim Parish where she was a member of St. Ann's Ladies Guild, and a member of The Order of the Sons of Italy, Stanley Seniors, A.A.R.P., and the Berlin Seniors. In addition to her husband and her mother, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Donald Shulenburg of Thomaston, a son and daughter-in-law, William Wasielak Jr. and his wife Julie of Kearneysville, West Virginia, a brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Anna Wagner of Berlin, two grandchildren, Ryan Lubin and Carter Wasielak, and two great-grandchildren, Ryan Lubin Jr. and Zachary Lubin. The funeral at Porter's Funeral Home in Kensington, and burial in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain, were private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA, 424 E. 92nd Street, New York, NY 10128-6804.
