Joyce Marie (Faircloth) Ostroski

Joyce Marie (Faircloth) Ostroski, 69, of Berlin, widow of James Ostroski Sr., died Tuesday morning (May 17, 2016) at The Hospital of Central Connecticut, New Britain, with her loving family at her side. Born in Willimantic, she was the daughter of the late Richard and the late Viola (Chelefeaux) Faircloth. She is survived by three sons, James Ostroski Jr. of Berlin, Stephen Ostroski of Somers, and Scott Therrien of Southington, three daughters and a son-in-law, Brenda Warzocha of Torrington, Donna and Jeff Hanson of Taylors, South Carolina, and Geraldine Ostroski of Berlin, three sisters and a brother-in-law, Ellie and Herb Kuehn of Bristol, Geraldine Kilman of Springfield, Massachusetts, and Charlotte Dorsey in Georgia, seventeen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and her dog, Rosie. Friends and relatives are invited to call at Porter's Funeral Home, 111 Chamberlain Highway, Berlin, on Friday (May 20, 2016) from 5-8pm. Interment in The State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friends of Berlin Animal Control, P.O.
