Laura Agnes (Bighinatti) Ferrero

KENSINGTON - Laura Agnes (Bighinatti) Ferrero, 98, of Kensington, widow of Charles "Chippy" Ferrero, died Monday (June 8, 2015) at Ledgecrest Health Care Center. Born in East Berlin, daughter of the late Floriano "Fred" and the late Palma (Ferrarino) Bighinatti, she was employed at AMF CUNO until her retirement. Laura was a member of St. Paul's Church, and active at the Berlin Senior Center. She is survived by a son an daughter-in-law, William and Wendy Ferrero of Gansevoort, New York, a daughter and son-in-law, Bonita "Bonnie" Ferrero and Howard Goldick of Bloomfield, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held July, 2, 2015, at 10am directly at St. Paul's Church, 467 Alling Street, Kensington. Burial in Maple Cemetery, Berlin, will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ledgecrest Health Care Center, 154 Kensington Road, Kensington, CT 06037. Her family is very grateful for the attention and care that she received at Ledgecrest.
