Linda J. (Petit) D'Amico

Linda J. (Petit) D'Amico, 63, of Berlin, loving wife of Daniel S. D'Amico, died Christmas Day (December 25, 2018) at the Hospital of Central Connecticut, New Britain, with her family at her side. Born in New Britain, daughter of the late George Petit Sr. and the late Charlotte (Keough) Petit, she received her Associate's degree from Tunxis Community College, and was employed in banking until retiring from Webster Bank. She was a member of St. Paul's Church in Kensington. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Becky Thaxton of Berlin, a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa Michaud-Maltese and Massimo Maltese of Rocky Hill, two brothers, George Petit Jr, and his wife Marianne of East Hampton, and Donald Petit of Southington, two grandchildren, Alexandra and Michael Lopez, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Monday (December 31, 2018) at 9am from Porter's Funeral Home, 111 Chamberlain Highway, Berlin, with a Funeral Liturgy at 10am at St. Paul's Church on Alling Street in Kensington. Burial will follow in Wilcox Cemetery, East Berlin. Friends and relatives are invited to call at the funeral home on Sunday (December 30, 2018) from 2-4pm.
