Lorraine (Buenger) Barrett

Lorraine (Buenger) Barrett, 89, formerly of Kensington, widow of Alfred J. Barrett, died Wednesday morning (January 16, 2019) at Jerome Home in New Britain. Born in Meriden, daughter of the late William and the late Helen (Kulbotski) Buenger, she graduated from New Britain High School, was employed at The Stanley Works until her retirement, and was a member of St. Paul's Church. She is survived by two daughters, Gail Christopher and her husband Neil of Mansfield Center, and Lois Barrett and Toni Capriglione M.D. of Middletown, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday (January 22, 2019) at 9am from Porter's Funeral Home, 111 Chamberlain Highway, Berlin, followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 10am at St. Paul Church on Alling Street. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Friends and relatives are invited to call at the funeral home Monday (January 21, 2019) from 4-6pm.
