KENSINGTON - Lucie Marie (Michaud) Daigle, 93, of Kensington, widow of Lawrence Daigle, died Saturday evening (August 29, 2015) at The Hospital of Central Connecticut, New Britain. Born in Frenchville, Maine, one of fourteen children of the late Patrick and the late Anna (Blanchette) Michaud, she was a member of St. Paul's Church, and Ladies of St. Ann Society in New Britain for many years. She is survived by a son, Lee Daigle of Kensington, a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Michael Leahy of Meriden, a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Carol Michaud of Middletown, seven sisters, Germaine Corriveau of Sinclair, Maine, Norma Plourde in Illinois, Winnifred Collin of Plainville, Juliette Michaud of Portland, Maine, Rella Legere of Sanford, Maine, Sylvia Kessell of South Paris, Maine, and Theresa Couture of Forestville, three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday (September 4, 2015) at 10am directly at St. Paul's Church. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain, will be at the convenience of the family. Friends and relatives are invited to call at Porter's Funeral Home, 111 Chamberlain Highway, Berlin, Thursday (September 3, 2015) from 5-8pm.
