Marilyn Frances Gunterman

Marilyn Frances Gunterman, 77, formerly of Berlin and Southington, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain with her loving family by her side.

Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Arnold and Frances (Dixon) Nimro.  Marilyn was formerly employed as a Domestic Violence Advocate at the Prudence Crandall Center in New Britain.  She enjoyed music, coloring, cats, and the Boston Red Sox.

Surviving are her daughter, Christi Deshaies and her companion, Stephen Wood; her granddaughter, Kaitlyn Deshaies; her niece, nephews and several cousins.  She was predeceased by a brother, Richard Nimro.

No funeral services will be held at this time; however, a celebration of life will take place at a later date.  Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home of Berlin is in charge of arrangements.
