Marion (Wasilewski) Mierzejewski

BERLIN & OLD SAYBROOK - Marion (Wasilewski) Mierzejewski, 90, of Old Saybrook, formerly of Berlin, widow of Wallace "Moon" Mierzejewski who died June 12, 2014, died July 1, 2014, at Middlesex Hospital, Middletown. Born in Wallingford, daughter of the late Boleslaw and the late Anna (Kaminski) Wasilewski, she was a Senior Cadet Nurse during WWII, and worked as a Registered Nurse at Meriden-Wallingford Hospital. She was a member of the Timberlin Ladies Golf League as well as being an avid card player. She enjoyed camping and going to the beach with her family. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law David and Ramona Mierzejewski of Anchorage, Alaska, son Wallace Mierzejewski of Kemerer, Wyoming, son Richard Mierzejewski of Anchorage, Alaska, son and daughter-in-law James and Lori Mierzejewski of Southington, and daughter and son-in-law Anne and Bill Lasky of Old Saybrook. She had 5 grandchildren Jessica Mierzejewski of Bellingham, Washington, Rebecca Mierzejewski of Anchorage, Alaska, Kyle Lasky of Old Saybrook and Jamie and Stephen Mierzejewski of Southington. A private graveside service will take place in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Meriden. There were no calling hours by request of the deceased.
