Martin Francis Kristoff Jr., 76, of Berlin, formerly of Glastonbury, loving husband of Ruth (Adamy) Kristoff for 55 years, died the morning of October 14th at Ledgecrest Health Care Center in Kensington. Born in Manchester, son of the late Martin and Anna (Walek) Kristoff, he graduated from Glastonbury High School in 1960. Following high school, he worked for many years on the family dairy farm after which he was employed at Arbor Acres Farm for 17 years. Marty attended Trinity Covenant Church in Manchester and was a member of the John Tom Hill Community Club. In addition to his wife, Marty is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and David Rose of Kensington, a son and daughter-in-law, William and Pamela Kristoff of Colchester, two brothers and their wives, David and Eileen Kristoff of Vermont and Fred and Ruth Kristoff of Vernon, a sister and her husband, Judith and Arthur Townsend of Simsbury, four grandchildren, Emily and Kevin Rose and Katherine and Carlton Kristoff and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two grandchildren, Ryan and Alyssa Kristoff. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the entire staff at Ledgecrest for the excellent care Marty received. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 9:45 a.m. at Trinity Covenant Church in Manchester. Friends and relatives are invited to call at the church from 8:30 a.m. until the service begins, after which a reception will follow in the church hall. Private burial in East Cemetery, Manchester will be at the convenience of the family.
