Nancie Alice Sturtevant (Maguder) Nadeau

Nancie Alice (Maguder) Sturtevant Nadeau, 74, of East Berlin, wife of Rosaire Joseph Nadeau, died Saturday, December 15, 2018, at Ledgecrest Nursing Home in Kensington, surrounded by family. Born April 5, 1944, in New Britain, daughter of the late Stanley and Rose (Wilczewski) Maguder, she attended Berlin High School and worked at Food Bag and Walmart in New Britain for many years. Nancie was a loving mother, grandmother, and aunt, who enjoyed crocheting, going to the casino, and spending time with her family. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Sue Sturtevant of Gorham, New Hampshire, and Douglas and Jill Sturtevant of Berlin, six grandchildren, Will, Rachel, Lauren, Eric, David, and John, her sister and brother-in-law, Gerri and Bob Russell of Kensington, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Denise Sturtevant, her son David Sturtevant, and her brother Stanley Maguder Jr. Friends and relatives are invited to call at Porter's Funeral Home 111 Chamberlain Highway, Berlin, Thursday (December 27, 2018) from 5-7pm. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain, will be at the convenience of the family.
