Nancy (Norton) Rosella

Nancy (Norton) Rosella, 70, of Kensington, beloved wife of Roger S. Rosella, died peacefully on July 23, 2018, at Hartford Hospital. Born May 14, 1948, in Bristol, daughter of the late Leslie and the late Florence Norton, she attended Terryville schools where she graduated from high school. She entered the St. Francis Hospital nursing program where she received her college degree as an RN, and was an RN at Southbury Institute for many years before she retired as Assistant Manager for Huntington Woods homes in Bristol. She was very athletic and loved horse riding days and the ocean. In addition to her husband, Nancy is survived by her sons, Edward J. Moore and Christopher Moore and his wife Michele, all in Virginia, three stepsons, Michael C. Rosella and his wife Diana in Florida, Steven R. Rosella and his wife Jenna of Wethersfield, and Kevin N. Rosella in North Carolina, and seven grandchildren, James Moore, Collin Rosella, twins Griffin and Bryne Rosella, Sean and Laura Rosella, and Kayden Rosella. In addition, Nancy and Roger have opened their hearts and home to Robert Derosier and his wife Jennifer, and their godchild Alivia who are a part of their family in Kensington. Deeply loved by family and friends, she will be truly missed, but will always be kept their in their hearts and prayers. Funeral services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
