Paul Edward Haynes

Paul Edward Haynes, 86, of Kensington, passed away on April 23, 2026 at Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center in East Hartford.

Born in Pittsfield, NH, he was the son of the late Carlton and Elsie (Lindonen) Haynes. Paul was a former employee of Cold Metal Products and Dattco Bus Company both in New Britain. He was a member of the Spartan Club on Broad Street in New Britain. Paul enjoyed playing softball, horseshoes, Hot Rod racing and Plainville Stadium, and pool parties at his home. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and looked forward to spending time at the Twin Lakes in Canaan, CT.

Paul is survived by his wife, Vivi (Jagoman) Haynes; his children, Rene Haynes, Lori Buchas, Kim White, Lisa DiValentino, Linda Haynes and Erik Haynes; his grandchildren, Marissa Rossnagle, Troy and Jake Haynes, Brandi and Willy Buchas, Lindsey and Steve Wierbicki, Shaun White, Darien DiValentino, Kyle Banasiewicz, Zack Chirella, Gavin and Maverik Haynes; and his brother Larry Hanes and his wife Susan. Paul was predeceased by a grandson, Dylan DiValentino; and his brothers, Gene Haynes, Lenny Haynes, and Richard Haynes. Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home of Berlin is in charge of arrangements.
