Paula Ann (Sverni) Paskov

NEW BRITAIN - Paula Ann (Sverni) Paskov, 52, of Lurton Street, the wife of James Kress Paskov, died early Friday morning (August 10, 2007) at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. Born in Winsted, the daughter of the late Paul and the late Angeline (Giansiracusa) Sverni, she grew up in Norfolk, graduated from Waterbury State Technical College, and was a teacher?s assistant in the New Britain School System. She was a member of St. Jerome Church, an avid supporter of the New Britain High School Marching Band, and loved her trips to the casinos. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Meagan and Amy Paskov, a brother, Joseph Sverni in Virginia, a niece, and a nephew. A Funeral Liturgy will be held Tuesday (August 14, 2007) at 10am DIRECTLY at St. Jerome Church, 1010 Slater Road, New Britain. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends and relatives are invited to call at Porter's Funeral Home, 111 Chamberlain Highway in Kensington on Monday (August 13, 2007) from 5-8pm.
