Peggy Rae (Holmes) Potvin

Peggy Rae (Holmes) Potvin, 59, of Berlin, loving wife of Robert James Potvin, died early Monday (August 1, 2016) at The Hospital of Central Connecticut, New Britain, after a short illness. Born in Caribou, Maine, daughter of the late Raymond and the late Cecile (Morin) Holmes, she graduated from Pulaski High School in New Britain. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Robert Potvin Jr. of New Britain, a daughter and son-in-law, Nicole Potvin Kelley and her husband Ryan Kelley of Berlin, five sisters and four brothers-in-law, Gloria DiMichele of Bristol, Rebecca and Gerard Milbrandt in North Carolina, Raelene and Robert Phillips of Sturbridge, Massachusetts, Cheryl and Russell Plourde of Plainville, and Bonnie and Michael Dominque of New Britain, a grandson, Max Kelley, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Lillian Sargent. Friends and relatives are invited to call at Porter's Funeral Home, 111 Chamberlain Highway, Berlin, on Friday (August 5, 2016) from 4-7pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Tribute Program, P.O. Box 1000 DEPT 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
