Roseann Dennerlein

Roseann “Rosie” Dennerlein, a devoted daughter of God who celebrated a life well lived, has peacefully transitioned to her eternal home in heaven. Originally from New Jersey and a longtime resident of Connecticut, Rosie’s legacy is rooted in thirty years of dedicated service as a counselor for students with disabilities at Northwestern Connecticut Community College, followed by a radical, faith-filled commitment to global ministry. As the founder and leader of Shakan Global Mission, she poured her heart into empowering women and families in Jinja, Uganda, fostering spiritual growth, economic independence, and overall health. Rosie was a tireless advocate for the vulnerable, and her greatest earthly passion was seeing the completion of the Shakan Global Mission Center in Jinja. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 11 AM at Wellspring Church in Berlin. Calling hours are Friday from 4-7 PM At Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home of Berlin, 111 Chamberlain Hwy, Berlin.
