Rosemarie (Leone) Sisti

RoseMarie Sisti, 84 of Berlin, CT. passed away on 12-24-24 at Apple Rehab in Cromwell CT. with family by her side.

RoseMarie was born in New Britain, CT. and lived most of her life in Berlin, CT. She was predeceased by her husband Antonio Sisti and parents Michael and Jennie Leone. RoseMarie graduated from Berlin High School and then attended AC Goodwin Technical School in New Britain where she obtained her Cosmetology License. RoseMarie was a Hair Stylist for several years and then moved to Charleston, South Carolina for a few years with her husband while he was in the United States Air Force. Upon their return to CT,  Rosemarie became a homemaker and began her family continuing to style hair on the side.

RoseMarie enjoyed spending time with her family. She was known as a great cook, continuing the family tradition of Sunday meals well into her 70's. She welcomed anyone who wanted to attend and was known for being able to have a meal ready on short notice, especially for her sons and their friends. Rosemarie's favorite hobby was shopping and found several accomplices throughout the years whom she could call to join her.

RoseMarie is survived by he sons, Tony Sisti and his wife Ann, Bob and his wife Tracy. Her grandchildren, Anthony and Julia Sisti, Skyler Korn and Santino and Dante Sisti. She was predeceased by her brother and sister Angelo Leone and Lucy Inkel and Angelo’s daughters Connie Buxton and Patty Gould.  She is also survived by Lucy's children Tina Scorzato, Natalie Klimkewicz, Anthony and Michael Grasso their spouses and RoseMarie's sister-in-laws Lucy Larosa, Lillian McLoughlin and Marisa Pulito their spouses and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 11:30 AM at St. Paul Church, Kensington.  Burial will be held privately in St. Mary Cemetery.  Calling hours are Saturday morning (January 4, 2025) from 9-11 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home of Berlin, 111 Chamberlain Hwy., Berlin.
