Rosemary Helen (Zadvosk) Garlick

KENSINGTON - Rosemary Helen (Zadvosk) Garlick, 85, of Kensington, widow of Robert Garlick, died early Friday (January 30, 2015) at a local convalescent home. Born in New Britain, daughter of the late Alexander and the late Mary (Stefanczyk) Zadvosk, she completed her Nursing degree at St. Francis Hospital, and was a Registered Nurse at the Veterans Hospital in Newington. She was a member of St. Paul's Church where she was a member of the Ladies Guild. She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Garlick of Southington, and Morgan Garlick in North Carolina, two daughters, Robin Bagley of West Halifax, Vermont, and Denise Penna of Meriden, two grandchildren, Madeline and Fred Bagley, and two great-grandchildren, Jamie and Maggie Rose Boyington. Funeral services will be held Thursday (February 5, 2015) at 9am from Porter's Funeral Home, 111 Chamberlain Highway, Kensington, with a Funeral Liturgy at 10am at St. Paul's Church on Alling Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Friends and relatives are invited to call at the funeral home on Wednesday (February 4, 2015) from 5-7pm.
