Sally Anne Prior

Sally Anne Prior, 88, of Berlin, CT passed away at home on February 3, 2025 after a long illness.  Sally was born in Pittsburgh, PA to John and Anna Steinkamp.  Sally is predeceased by her spouse Paul J. Prior.  She is survived by daughters Kathleen Prior (Delaware), Susan Prior (Berlin, CT) and sons Paul Prior, Jr., and Michael Prior Sr. both of Berlin, CT. Sally is also survived by five grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

Sally worked as a registered nurse and owned and operated a nursing home in Kensington, CT for many years along with her late husband.  Sally and Paul traveled around the world evaluating Homes for the Aged in line with their careers as nursing home administrators.  Sally enjoyed birding, feeding the Hawk, had a love for reading, and taught her grandchildren how to raise Monarch butterflies in her own backyard.

There will be a private memorial service.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Berlin Land Trust, Inc., P.O. Box 94, Berlin, CT 06037.  Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home of Berlin is in charge of arrangements.
