Susan Lillian (Jacobs) Paradis

Susan Lillian (Jacobs) Paradis, 92, of Kensington, loving wife of Raymond Paradis, died Sunday (February 3, 2019) at home with her family at her side. Born in New Britain, daughter of the late Sahac and the late Rose (Bagdasarian) Jacobs, she graduated from New Britain High School, and was employed at American Hardware before retiring as a clerk for the New Britain Judicial System #GA15. She was a member of St. Stephen's Armenian Apostolic Church, and St. Mark's Episcopal Church in New Britain. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Richard Paradis of Williamsburg, Virginia, David and Pat Paradis of Middletown and Estero, Florida, and Robert and Janice Paradis of Southington, two daughters and a son-in-law, Linda Paradis of Farmington, and Debra Paradis-Czarnecki and her husband Keith of Old Lyme, a brother, Armen Jacobs in Florida, a sister, Lila Winters of Plainville, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at St. James Episcopal Church, 3 Mountain Road, Farmington, Wednesday (February 13, 2019) at 11am. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
