Thaddeus "Ted" Boguslawski Jr.

Thaddeus “Ted” Boguslawski Jr., 66, of Kensington, husband of Laura Boguslawski, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2024.

Born in New Britain, he was the son of the late Thaddeus Boguslawski Sr. and Lucy (Nadolny) Boguslawski.  Ted was a Kensington resident for the past 36 years and was a member of St. Paul Church.  Ted worked for the post office for over 30 years in New Britain and Manchester as a letter carrier and supervisor.  He was very well liked and cherished by his many coworkers who fondly referred to him as “Bogie”.  Ted was an avid Miami Dolphins football fan and Atlanta Braves baseball fan.  He enjoyed music, including playing the guitar and singing.

Surviving are his wife, Laura (Serravalle) Boguslawski; three children, Thaddeus Boguslawski III, Anthony Boguslawski and his wife Samantha, and Stephanie Boguslawski; two grandchildren, Nolan and Quinn Boguslawski; his sister, Irene Bonati and her husband Eugene; his mother-in-law, Mary Serravalle; two brothers-in-law, Charles “Chuck” Serravalle and his wife Annie, and Michael Serravalle; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Ted was predeceased by his father-in-law, Anthony Serravalle; and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Anthony and Nancy Serravalle.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Nov. 4, 2024 at 11:30 AM at St. Paul Church, 461 Alling St., Kensington.  There are no calling hours.  Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home of Berlin is in charge of arrangements.
