Thomas Francis Pesenti

Thomas Francis Pesenti, 71, formerly of Berlin, passed away on Monday, Nov. 22, 2021 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain.

Born in New Britain, he was the son of the late Francis and Eileen (Chadwick) Pesenti.  Thomas was a Berlin resident most of his life before moving to New Britain.  Thomas loved his family, animals (especially dogs), and fishing.  He enjoyed being with people, attending dances and social events with CCARC.  Thomas will be remembered for his captivating smile and his love for taking pictures.

Surviving are three sisters and their husbands, Carol and Mathew Courtney, Claire and Peter Swanson, Barbara and James Blanchette;  his nieces and nephew, Emily Courtney, Valerie Courtney, Adam Blanchette and his wife Marijke, Amy Mello and her husband Brad;  his grandniece, Lyla Blanchette; and a grandnephew Ryder Blanchette.  The family would like to thank Jennie and Jamir from CCARC for their special care extended to Thomas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 AM at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Newington.  Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.  Calling hours will be Friday morning from 9 to 10:30 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home of Berlin/Porters, 111 Chamberlain Hwy, Kensington.  Memorial donations may be made to CCARC of New Britain, CT, 950 Slater Rd., New Britain, CT  06053.
