Walter W. Turner Iii

Walter William Turner III, 43, of Berlin, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 23, 2022.

Walter grew up in Newington and graduated from Newington High school. He went on to graduate from New England Tech and eventually became a ASE Master Certified Technician.  Walter was employed as a Lead Automotive Technician for many years.  He had a lot of passion for his career.  He spent many years helping others, whether it was working on their cars, or lending a helping hand any way he knew how.  Walter adored his children and enjoyed sharing his knowledge with his sons. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Surviving are his two sons, Patrick and Joseph Turner, both of Newington; his parents, Walter William Turner Jr. and Audrey (Zadrowksi) Turner of Southington; his brother, Darren Turner and wife Magdalena of Cheshire. Walter also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:30 AM at St. Paul Church.  Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.  Calling hours are Monday from 5-7 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home of Berlin/Porters, 111 Chamberlain Hwy, Kensington.
