Amber Godin-Baker Obituary

Amber Marie Godin-Baker passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022.  She was 34 years old.  Born in Hartford, CT, she was the daughter of Wade P. Godin of Berlin, CT and the late Daisy M. McBride formerly of CT.  Those who knew Amber well, knew her as beautiful inside and out.  She was highly empathetic, kind, intuitive, funny and had a very big heart.  Amber possessed a strong emotional and intellectual intelligence.  In her desire to help others, she offered unmatched insight and understanding of almost any meaningful topic.  She had abundant love for her children, parents, grandparents, siblings, and cat.  She was a Certified Reiki Practitioner, wrote poetry, enjoyed listening to music and reading.  Amber will always be remembered as being spiritually connected to universal energy.  The earth, planets, moon and stars were her passion.  In addition to her father and step-mother Diane Godin, Amber is survived by her children Dakota Rose Baker and Forbes Kai Baker, her grandmothers Joyce Godin and Marjorie Delaney, sister Mariah Godin and fiancé Ron Martinez, brother Matthew Godin, step-sister Danielle Oliveira and husband Jonny Oliveira, step-brother Jake Pritt,  aunt Aida McBride, aunt Karen Godin, uncle Mark Godin and wife Sandy Godin, uncle Jeff Godin and wife Valerie Godin, two nieces and a nephew, along with several cousins and extended family.  Calling hours and celebration of life will be private.
