Barbara Jean (Lugli) Warchol

Barbara Jean Warchol, of Kensington, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain.  She was predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years Henry Warchol.

Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Stella (Karmilowicz) Lugli.  Barbara was a former Bristol resident before moving to Kensington 54 years ago.  She was employed as a real estate broker and was the owner of Pride Reality in Kensington for many years. Before retiring ten years ago, Barbara worked at Cornerstone Real Estate in Berlin where she made many close friends and truly loved the people she worked with there. Barbara was a member of St. Paul Church and the New Britain Board of Realtors.

Surviving are two daughters, Robyn Sparkman and her husband Anthony Rossi of Kensington, Lisa and her husband John McColl of Kensington; a son, Thomas H. Warchol and his wife Cheryl of New Hartford; a sister Lois Swanson and her husband Russell of Maine; seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 10 AM at St. Paul Church.  Burial will be in South Burying Ground, Kensington.  Calling hours are Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 4-6 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home of Berlin, 111 Chamberlain Hwy, Kensington.
