Louise J. Wilcox, 75, formerly of New Britain, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2020 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. She was predeceased by her first husband Richard, her second husband, Daniel Wilcox, and by her sister, Noreen Pelto.
Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Casimer and Helen (Urbanowicz) Zaczkowski. Louise was formerly employed at Church Homes in West Hartford for 25 years before retiring. She volunteered at the Friendship Center in New Britain, the Hospital for Special Care, and with the Hospital of Central CT Auxiliary.
Surviving are her daughter, Tracy and Dave Dube; two sons, Richard Nappi and Julie Rybka, Michael and Paula Nappi. She is survived by nine wonderful grandchildren, Samantha, Jordyn, and Mitchel Nappi; Chris, D.J., and Tyler Dube; Ricky, Jasmine, and Jessica Nappi; and by her great-grandchildren, Hayden, David Joseph, Camden, and Brooks. Louise spent a lot of time with her grandchildren. She was the most generous grandmother, taking each one her grandchildren on trips after graduating from High School. Louise is also survived by her siblings, Virginia Nichols of Southington, Daniel (Judith) Zaczkowski of Ohio, Marilyn (David) Dorau of Berlin, Richard (Anne) Zaczkowski of South Carolina, Paul (Judy) Zaczkowski of Berlin, James Zaczkowski of Plantsville, Laurie Forbes of New Britain, and Lynne Vitale of Plainville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:30 AM at St. Paul Church in Kensington. There are no calling hours. Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home of Berlin is in charge of arrangements.
