Tina Sullivan, 61, of Berlin, CT, passed away October 19, 2023. Tina fought a courageous fight in her battle against cancer, but in the end her body said enough. Surrounded by her family, with her beloved daughters ‘by her side, her spirit returned home to God.
Born September 26, 1962, to James “Jim” and Jane Sullivan. She is the 4th of 5 children. She enjoyed her youth playing outside with her siblings and local friends. She graduated from Cromwell High School, and spent 34 years working with her sister Pam, at Progressive Specialty Glass where she was a Logistics Manager.
Tina was a devoted mother to her two daughters. Her world was her daughters and her family. She never missed a family event. During the days prior to her passing, she had a revolving door of family and friends visiting her. The room was alive with Tina stories. She had a sense of humor that you were guaranteed a good laugh when Tina was around. She never took life too seriously, something to be admired. Tina was a kind and caring person. Someone you could count on. Tina enjoyed researching ancestry and sharing her findings. She enjoyed long car rides where she would share memories of the locations. She also loved staying up late and watching movies with her girls.
Tina was predeceased by her father, James Sullivan, and her brother-in-law, Gary Daniels. She is survived by her daughters, Heather Sullivan and her boyfriend Michael Patterson of Marlborough and Melanie Sullivan and her boyfriend Tom Fijalkowski of Berlin. She is also survived by her mother Jane Sullivan of Cromwell; her sisters Lynne Daniels and her partner Randy Huffman of Farmington, Pam Sullivan and her partner Danny Silvey of Kensington and Sheila Sullivan of Meriden; and her brother Gary Sullivan and his wife Debbie Morris of Cromwell. She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Monica Daniels and her husband Kevin Hotham of Tolland and their daughters Victoria and Lily; Christy Daniels and her partner Stephen Philbrook of Whitinsville, MA and their sons Gary “Cash” and Wyatt; Katie Cardone and her partner Tyler Knox of Burlington and their son Dominick BenMaor; Tiana Cardone and her wife Rachelle Hill of Berlin; and Mikayla and Jordyn Robinson of Meriden.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 10:00 am at the Center Congregational Church, 11 Center St., Manchester, CT. Please go directly to church. Visitation will be held on Monday, Oct 23rd from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home of Berlin, 111 Chamberlain Highway, Berlin.
