William “Billy” Thomas Musanti passed away unexpectedly at his home in New Britain, Connecticut on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. Billy was born in Wallingford, Connecticut on April 23, 1986 to Thomas and Georgean (Ives) Musanti, joining his older sisters Amy and Maegan. He graduated from Lyman Hall High School in 2004 and began what would become his lifelong career with Banana Republic.
Billy brought a smile to the face of everyone he met with his old man wit and heart of gold. Billy was the epitome of kindness, patience, and generosity. He loved animals, especially his cat Bentley, the Florida sunshine, traveling with his friends, laughing with his family, and of course, anything made by Samsung or in camouflage print.
Billy is survived by his mom and dad, Thomas and Georgean Musanti of Greentown, PA; sister Amy Musanti (Coltin Jespersen) of Southington CT, sister Maegan Musanti (Abigail Musanti) of Berlin CT; and countless aunts, uncles and cousins. Billy is also survived by an incredible chosen family comprised of his closest and most cherished friends.
His family welcomes all who had the pleasure of loving Billy to celebrate his life on Friday, May 5, 2023 at a gathering from 2:00 to 4:00 pm followed by a short memorial service beginning at 4:00 pm. These services will be held at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home of Berlin, 111 Chamberlain Highway, Kensington (Berlin) Connecticut. As a final showing of our love, please come to his services in camouflage, as this is what would make his heart happy."
